Description
This activity focuses on 5 simple shapes; triangle, square, rectangle, diamond & hexagon. It shows examples of each and tells how many sides each shape has. Students then must look at several geoboards and find the correct shape asked for. After, they are shown each shape again and asked to create another that matches in size and position. The activity ends with a review of all 5 shapes. A great alternative to using real geoboards and rubber bands while still allowing students to create shapes themselves is a fun way. All pages have auto play audio and are self correcting. This deck is also part of a bundle.
