Description: This is an interactive speech and language activity. The zookeeper is playing hide and seek with the zoo animals—let's go! The zookeeper will look around the zoo to find the elephant, tiger, lion, giraffe, hippo, and crocodile. The student will move an item to reveal each hidden zoo animal. Once the animal is found, the student will receptively identify it in an errorless format. Each animal is then told to complete a different action using draggable items: swim, eat, jump, walk, splash, and roar. After each discovery, the sentence “I found you!” appears with visual supports for repeated practice. This activity supports both analytic and gestalt language processors. Core vocabulary is embedded throughout, and audio + visual supports help all learners participate successfully. Directions are embedded on each slide for easy, independent use. Perfect for mixed groups, play-based sessions, early language learners, and AAC users. Check out my store for a variety of themed hide-and-seek activities! This is part of my zoo bundle!
