Description: This deck of Boom Cards was designed as a fun way to review the names, locations, capitals, and abbreviations of the northeastern states of the U.S. The 11 states included in this deck are Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The 35 Boom Cards in this deck use a variety of answer choice styles including multiple choice, fill in the blank, and drag and drop. Students are not expected to spell the state names or their capitals. However, they will be required to enter the 2-letter abbreviations for some of the states. There are two versions of this deck, one with optional audio directions (this deck) and one without audio. Each card in the audio deck has a sound icon in the corner that students can click to hear the words on the card read aloud.
