Description: Practice finding the main idea two different ways with this resource. These cards are differentiated to include multiple choice and open response. Students will read the passage and either select or type the main idea. Students or teachers can choose a path to access the cards. Each card has and informational text relating to animals, plants, important people, science concepts, and space. Each passage is engaging. Some main ideas are implied and some are stated in the text. These are perfect for literacy centers. There are 20 open response and 20 multiple choice cards (same passages on each path)
