Description
This is a 36 card deck designed to target prosody, tone, and intonation of speech awareness. It is an auditory discrimination activity which seeks to heighten the student's attention to the paralinguistic aspects of speech and communication. It focuses on happy, sad, angry, and surprised speech prosody, tone, and intonation. The goal to use this deck many times so the student is effortlessly able to identify the paralinguistic clues in the pitch, volume, and intensity of voice and consequently determine the mood or emotion.
