Description: This Thanksgiving themed pictograph activity is a fun and engaging way to introduce your students to graphing and data collection. The deck contains 20 cards. The first card provides printed directions along with an audio option to have the directions read aloud. The second card features a menu of game options. There are three different games from which students can choose, as follows: Game One: Thanksgiving Kids Game Two: Thanksgiving Things Game Three: Thanksgiving Foods Each game contains six cards, and each card contains a different graph for your students to create and analyze. Students begin by creating a graph. To do this, students drag and drop all of the pictures in the box in the upper right side of the card into the correct columns in the graph. Next, students answer three questions using data from the graph. First, students type the number of pictures in each category. Next, students are presented with two multiple choice questions in which they are asked to click on the picture that has the greatest and the picture that has the least. When students complete the graphing activity, they can click the pointer icon in the top right corner of the card to go to the next card. Students can also click the house icon in the top left corner of each card at any time to return to the main menu.
