Description: Your ESL students will enjoy competing to sink their partner's battleships in this classic strategy game. Students will practice saying the letters A to G and the numbers 1 to 6 in English. They will also develop speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills. "Sink the Ships" is a versatile game. You can assign it as pair work, include it in learning stations or use it as a reward. Plus, you can use it for all kinds of language. Use the "draw" function to cross out the letters and numbers and write your own. Or, try one of the other "Sink the Ships" game boards available in my store. My favorite thing about this game is that it develops so many different skills: logic and critical thinking, speaking and listening, grammar and vocabulary.
