Classifying 3D Shape Level 1 includes 30 interactive, self-checking task cards to help students learn to identify six basic 3D shapes: cone, pyramid, prism, cylinder, sphere, and cube. The first ten cards review the definitions of those shapes, and the remaining cards present a series of tasks that involve classifying those shapes. There are two versions of Classifying 3D Shape Level 1, one with audio (this deck) and one without audio. Every card in this deck has a sound icon in the upper left corner that students can click to hear the words on the card read aloud. There are 30 unique cards in the deck, but if you want your students to see fewer cards during each round, you can change the settings before assigning the deck to your students. Classifying 3D Shapes Level 1 was coauthored by Laura and Amy Candler.
