Description: This deck was created for primary readers to practice identifying story details. The deck has 22 cards with passages about Johnny Appleseed. This Level D reader has multiple sentences per slide. The sentences are three to nine words in length, averaging about 6-7. The deck was created for students who can read simple sentences with words that have blends, digraphs, and inflected endings. Audio support is provided by clicking on a speaker button if needed. "Tab Navigation" can be used. Using the Deck -The students will read the passage three times. -They will click on buttons 1, 2, and 3 to keep track of the number of times they have read the text. -They will read the question and three answer choices. -Then click on one of the three answer choices. Levels A, B, and C are also available for Johnny Appleseed. The same information is provided, but each reader is at a different level. The questions are the same for each leveled reader.
