This deck was created for students to practice identifying the beginning blends. Audio support and alt text are provided. This deck will help students review and practice letter sounds, identify blends, and discriminate sounds. How to Use the Deck: - The students will look at a picture and then click on the beginning blend. There is a speaker button to click on to hear the word. - There are 21 cards. Each has two penguins holding the picture of the word. - There are blends in 3 boxes below the picture. The students will click on the beginning blend for the picture. The deck was created with a winter theme and isn't geared toward the holidays. RF.1.2.B Orally produce single-syllable words by blending sounds (phonemes), including consonant blends.
