Help students learn how to interact appropriately with coworkers while understanding personal, social, and workplace boundaries. Students use the strategy STOP → THINK → CHOOSE to work through realistic workplace situations and decide whether a social interaction is appropriate for work. This 21-card deck includes teaching and vocabulary cards, a modeled example, and realistic workplace scenarios. Students practice recognizing appropriate conversation topics, respecting privacy and personal space, avoiding gossip, handling disagreements, using phones and social media appropriately, respecting other people's belongings, and responding when another person sets a boundary. Students also learn that having workplace boundaries does not mean they cannot be friendly with coworkers. Scenarios help students distinguish between normal workplace conversation and interactions that may be too personal or inappropriate for the setting. Skills include: - Understanding workplace boundaries - Choosing appropriate conversation topics - Respecting private information - Avoiding workplace gossip - Respecting personal space - Recognizing and responding to social cues - Respecting another person's “no” or “stop” - Using phones and social media appropriately - Handling disagreements with coworkers - Respecting other people's belongings - Understanding coworker versus close-friend boundaries - Making appropriate social choices at work Designed for special education, transition, vocational training,
