About me: <p><strong>I am a special education teacher with over 28 years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs. I have extensive experience teaching vocational skills, functional academics, independent living skills, and transition skills to help students prepare for life beyond school.</strong></p><p><strong>My Boom Cards are designed to provide practical, age-respectful practice with real-world skills such as workplace readiness, problem solving, community safety, functional money, cooking, shopping, cleaning, and independent living. I create resources with real classrooms in mind—especially the kinds of functional and vocational materials I often wished I could find more of for my own students.</strong></p>
