In this activity, students will practice building words with the letters a, m, s, and t. They will listen to the word and then type each sound in the Elkonin boxes above the sound tiles. Words are repeated due to the limited number of words. Standards/Skills: This activity is designed to provide additional practice after the introduction of the letter sounds m, s, t, and short a. RF.K.2.d: Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.)
