Need some quick stories with simple comprehension questions for young language learners? Here they are! Read the short story aloud with your student. Then, go through the comprehension questions on the subsequent slides. See if your student can answer the questions independently. If they are having some difficulty, offer the multiple choice answers to scaffold their answer. These mini-stories also include interesting and new vocabulary for young language learners! When they notice these words, spend some time exploring their definitions, and have them find examples of something similar in their own things! Most of all, have fun!
