This Valentine's Day sight words book focuses on the sight words "at" and "the". This sight words book has an anticipated pattern so students can put their attention on learning the sight words. The sentence on each page covers the sight words within a sentence of predictive, emergent level text to assist students in learning the sight words and practicing reading. The images on each page match the text to help with decoding. Perfect for February during the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day. The book is played twice. During the first reading, students will read the sentences pointing to each word (one-to-one correspondence). Next, students will read the book a second time, only now they will have to fill in the blank on each slide by typing in the sight words "at" and "the".
