About me: Hello there! I'm Ana Scaramella, the person behind The Suburban Teacher. So nice to meet you! As a passionate elementary school teacher with a love for all things ELA and math, I've poured my heart into creating engaging learning experiences for students. My journey into the world of education began with a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of Maringa in Brazil, where I received a degree in Languages and Literatures. Later, I earned my Master's Degree from Mercy College in New York. With NYS certifications in Birth through 6th grade education, special education, and English as a New Language for K-12, I've had the opportunity to wear many hats in the classroom. One tool that's been a game changer in my teaching journey is Boom Cards. They have tremendously increased engagement in my classroom, and I'm thrilled to share their magic with other teachers like you. Currently, my Boom store features a collection of decks created mainly for Kindergarten ELA and math, sprinkled with a few decks for other grade levels and subjects.
