These jokes are loaded with a mixture of prevocalic /r/, vocalic /r/, and /r/ blends. This is a great activity for carryover of /r/ sounds. This is also a great activity to mix with language goals, as there are natural opportunities to discuss vocabulary, use of context clues, and figurative language. Read the joke. Then click and drag the sprinkles to the left to see the punchline. Jokes are clean and appropriate for all ages; however, the humor might be best understood by individuals 8 and older. This is the first of two decks of /r/ sound loaded jokes. This is a growing deck! If I hear of other /r/ loaded jokes, I will add them, as long as they are public domain.
