Description: This resource was created to help students identify a character's feelings. Each slide has a picture, a short story, and four faces that show different feelings. There are 18 student slides in the deck. Using the Resource: - Your students will begin with the directions on slide 1. They will read the directions. They will see nine faces with a word stating the feeling by each face to review the different types of feelings. - They will look at the picture and read the short story. - They will click on the face that shows the feelings of the character. - When the students click on the correct answer they will proceed to the next slide. If they choose an incorrect answer they will be directed to try again. RL.1.7 Use illustrations and details in a story to describe its characters, setting, or events. RL.1.4 Identify words and phrases in stories or poems that suggest feelings or appeal to the senses.
