Description: How can we make sure that students get the most out of their homework without spending hours marking or taking up questions in class? These middle school math games can be assigned as a hook, review or even modified (by hiding cards and assigning as a quiz) and used as an assessment. When assigned through Boom, the teacher will be able to track data and spend class time reviewing only the cards that students are struggling with while skipping easier concepts that are already understood. Because of the variety of math subjects and levels of difficulty, teachers can easily differentiate homework and because many of the games include many pages, one deck can often be assigned over an entire week. Subjects covered in this bundle include: recognizing and writing out large numbers and small (decimal) numbers, multiplying and dividing by moving the decimal point, translating and solving algebraic expressions using both symbols and pictures, place value recognition, decimals and percentages with building blocks, the volume, integers and the zero principle, order of operations, area and perimeter of shapes, Canadian coin amounts, ordered pairs, angles, rounding numbers, divisibility, algebraic expressions and rules, standard form and expanded form of numbers, equivalent ratios and fractions and metric conversions.
