LOL - Life of Learning

About me: Welcome to LOL – Life of Learning! I'm an Ontario Certified Teacher with a Bachelor of Science from Queen's University, a Master of Teaching degree from OISE, and TEFL certification. Before returning to Canada, I spent six years teaching in Japan, an experience that deepened my passion for language learning, cultural exploration, and student-centered education. Since returning to Canada, I have taught in elementary and middle school classrooms, primarily in French Immersion. My teaching philosophy is rooted in experiential learning: I believe students learn best by actively engaging with ideas, solving problems, and making meaningful connections. Whether teaching mathematics, literacy, science, or the arts, my goal is to create learning experiences that are both rigorous and engaging. Every resource in this store has been designed with real classroom experience in mind. I strive to create curriculum-aligned activities that are interactive, accessible, and easy for teachers to implement. Many resources include audio support, visual scaffolds, and opportunities for independent practice to support diverse learners. My store features resources in English, French, and additional languages, with a particular focus on literacy, language development, and engaging cross-curricular learning experiences.
