The stories are adapted for English learners and illustrated with real photos that will capture children's imaginations. The following fairy tales are included: Cinderella, The Gingerbread Man, Hansel and Gretel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and The Wizard of Oz. Your students will develop fluency and vocabulary as they listen and read. You can make the stories available in learning centers, project them on the whiteboard for whole-class instruction or assign them for children to practice reading at home. I created these guided reading books for my students, who are learning English as a foreign language in elementary school. They love magic and make-believe, so they enjoy reading fairy tales and picturing themselves as the heroes and heroines. I wanted ebook versions of fairy tales at their level that I could send them to practice reading in English at home. I found ebooks to buy for myself, but none that I could send to families. So I wrote these!
