Student directions are recorded on the deck for "Independent Readers" and those using "Audio Support." The students using the deck for "Independent Readers" will read all of the short stories and directions for the activities independently. The students using the deck with "Audio Support" will click on the blue speaker buttons to hear the stories and directions for the activities read to them. How to Use: 1. The first card, second card, and third card have recorded instructions. 2. The students will identify the first sentence as the main idea for what they are reading. The first sentence is underlined. 3. The time order words "First," "Next," "Then," and "Last" are all in red print to help students identify the story order by using these clue words, 4. The students will drag each of the four pictures to a box to put the story in order. The boxes are numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. 5. Each of the ten stories has two activities on two different cards. There is a sequencing activity and an activity to respond to the time order words, before and after. 6. The students will click the "Submit" button.
