This Bundle includes my 7 part Narrative/Story Retell Boom Card series! 7 decks-91 cards. Research shows story retell is a solid strategy for improving listening and reading comprehension. I've found that before I can expect students to generate narratives while writing or speaking, or retelling stories, I must first directly teach the idea of 'story elements'. This is an abstract concept and is a big reason why so many students have a hard time committing a concrete idea of this in their minds. Their narratives are disorganized or disconnected, in speaking, writing, and retelling texts. In this Bundle: Multisensory methods are utilized to teach 7 story elements: character, setting, problem, middle feeling, action, solution, and end feeling. Each card has a multiple choice of three answers. These resources can be used with or without the Story Champs program. Perfect resources for distance learning and/or telepractice!
