About me: I'm a school-based SLP with a passion for using a multisensory approach to instruction. I strive for those "aha" moments when students finally make those ~abstract~ concepts we try to teach more concrete. By definition, the students we work with in the schools have been proven to not succeed in the same manner of learning as their peers. This is also true of children who attend private practice clinics. Usually (always is never a thing-as we all know), they require maximum visual, tactile, and kinesthetic cues to truly understand new concepts and commit them to memory.

Before moving into the schools, I worked in private practice with pediatrics for 3 years. I have a passion for making individualized resources, and for research-based practice. More than anything, I have found that my most at-risk students are the ones that benefit most from the extra time it takes to make something that is truly individualized.

If you have questions, success stories, or requests for new resources, please do not hesitate to contact me at themultisensoryslp@gmail.com.
