Description: Email me at slpstoryhouse@gmail.com for any questions. Enjoy the Story Grammar Marker®-Boom™ Cards-Fall (series 1), a bundle of six beautifully illustrated and highly engaging stories with 7 differentiated versions of each story (i.e. 42 stories in all) that are officially approved and endorsed by Mindwing Concepts, Inc., www.mindwingconcepts.com, creator of the Story Grammar Marker®. These stories are connected to each other, have similar characters throughout, and are connected to series 2, 3, and 4. They are meant to be used as a companion tool to be used with the Story Grammar Marker® approach. They contain the Story Grammar Marker® icons (character, setting, kickoff, feeling, plan, attempts, tie-up, resolution) and can be used for teaching story grammar elements in an explicit way. Each deck has many access points for differentiation, as the stories within it are crafted with each narrative development stage in mind (i.e., from stage 1 to 7). It would be appropriate for the whole classroom, group/individual lessons, centers, and home programming. Each story has an activity and option for audio. Skills such as sequencing, problem solving, inferencing, understanding/expressing story grammar elements, use of cohesive ties (i.e., temporal, causal), feeling words, thinking/planning verbs, perspective taking, story comprehension and story retelling can be focused on.
