Description: Your students will practice identifying the characters and settings in a story. - "Identifying Characters Story Grammar" - your students will create a scene by dragging the characters to a stage while leaving the objects. - "Character Descriptions" - your students will read a description of a character, view three characters on the bottom, and then click on the character that is being described. - "Characters in a Story" - your students will view a book cover, then click on the character that would be in the story. - "Identifying Settings" - your students will read a passage and then click on the picture that shows the setting for the story. - "Story Grammar Creating Settings" - your students will complete a setting that is related to a theme by dragging pictures to the scene. - "Settings Story Grammar" - your students will view a book cover and read three titles. Each title contains a word that is a setting. They will click the title that matches the book's setting. - "Settings at School"- your students will read a short passage. Then click on the picture that shows the setting. -"Characters, Settings, Events Ice Cream" - your students will read a sentence on each slide and then answer a wh- question related to either the character(s), settings, or event on each slide.
