Description: THE DECK: This deck has informational text about bats to help your students improve their reading comprehension skills. The students will view a photo, read or listen to information about bats, and then respond to a WH question. How to Use - Your students will listen to the directions on card 1, then click on the Next button to begin. - They will read a short passage, then a question and answer choices. Audio can be accessed by clicking on the bats. - After reading and/or listening to the WH question and three answer choices, your students will click on 1 of the 3 answer choices. - This deck is self-correcting and provides immediate feedback. Teachers can access reports. ACTIVITY PACKET This packet supplements the deck "Bats Reading Comprehension Primary." It would be used after the students work through the deck individually, as a group, or in class. The first page, after the cover, is the Teacher Guide, followed by two pages of an answer key, then the student activities. The packet of activities for students includes four pages of activities with questions requiring written responses. The students can use the deck to locate information to support their answers.
