Description: Author's Purpose Bundle - This bundle contains two decks. Deck 1 was created using audio and alt text. There is also a help card. Deck 2 was created for independent readers, with audio instructions on the first slide. Your students will identify the author's purpose for writing a story or a passage. They will identify passages that persuade, describe, explain, entertain, and inform. There is a picture for each passage. There is a passage and three answer choices. The students will click on the author's purpose. Each passage consists of 5 - 6 sentences. The sentences are varied. There are simple, complex, and compound sentences. There are multi-syllable words. Some words consist of diphthongs, digraphs, blends, and suffixes.
