Description: Your students will explore habitats, biomes, and ecosystems in different geographical areas. They will learn how the environment affects the species that live there. There are eight decks. Each provides pictures, informational text, and wh- questions. Your students will read to identify details to respond to wh-questions. They will either read color-coded sentences and click on the color box with the detail that answers the wh- question. Or, they will click on one of the three answer choices that are in sentence form. Audio is provided by clicking on speaker buttons to listen to the passages, questions, and answer choices. Alt text is also provided. The decks "Biomes," "Deserts," "Tropical Rainforests," "Deciduous Forests," and "Oceans" provide specific information about the plant life and animals in the different biomes, and how they interact and affect each other. "Arctic Animals" and "Ocean Animals" provide further information about the plants and animals, particularly with changes in climate. The deck "National Parks" provides pictures and passages about various parks in the United States. Each park is unique. They each have different landforms and ecosystems in their locations.
