Description: Understanding whether a noun is a counted or non-counted noun in English is important to getting other grammatical choices right - do you need an article? Do you use 'much' or 'many', 'fewer' or 'less'? This bundle contains 3 decks - the first simply has students identify the nouns in a sentence and whether they are "count" or "non-count" nouns. The second deck has students decide whether to complete the sentence with 'much' or 'many', and decide if the noun needs to be made plural or not. The third deck starts with a review of count versus non-count nouns and then has students decide whether to complete a series of 10 sentences with 'less' or 'fewer and 10 sentences with 'a few' or 'a little'. Good practice for English language learners, this last deck is one that many native speakers of English can learn from.
