Description: Use this forest themed "listen and read" story deck to provide your students with a fun way to build reading fluency and comprehension. The deck includes 93 cards, as follows: Card 1: Choose Your Activity Cards 2-41: For each card in this section, students look at the picture, click the sound icon, and follow along as the sentence for that card is spoken aloud. Students then click the pointer icon to move to the next card. Cards 42-88: In this section, students are tasked with reading the story independently. The cards in this section are identical to the cards in the previous section except that the cards do not have sound icons. Cards 84-93: In this section, students read or listen to a literal comprehension question about the story. Next, students click on the picture that best answers the question. With the exception of the Main Menu card, each card in the deck includes a house icon. Students can click on the house icon at any time to return to the main menu.
