Description: Basic Concepts such as Negation ("NOT") can be a struggle for therapists to teach and for students to learn, but not anymore with this introductory BOOM activity for PreK - K. This is Level 1B of a 4-Level Product Line. The entire series is scaffolded so each level is increasingly more difficult. Level 1B assumes students have zero understanding of the concept of negation. Upon finishing Level 4, your students will achieve their IEP goal of understanding Negation. Level 1B is the same as Level 1A but provides a new set of objects for continued practice. WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? Basic Concepts Negation Level 1B is a self-correcting 71-card BOOM Deck activity that allows students to learn independently, with a speech therapist, or with parental support. Level 1B starts from the beginning and teaches the concept first. It assumes the student has no understanding of negation. The only requirement is for the student to understand "yes" and "no" questions and to recognize common objects, such as cats, dogs, apples, bananas, etc. Level 1B provides a set of systematic auditory and visual guides with self-correcting slides to facilitate learning.
