Description: Are you looking for a step-by-step way to teach the vocabulary concept of "SAME?" This 65-card deck does just that by gradually decreasing the support provided from one activity to another. This is Part 1 of 2 decks. Purchase Part 1 for students who don't have any understanding of the concept word "SAME." Purchase Part 2 after your students have mastered Part 1 or when they have a basic understanding of the word. There are 4 different scaffolded activities in this deck. Each level becomes increasingly more difficult. In addition, the same set of targeted items is used in all 4 levels. This allows students to become very proficient with a small set of items before new ones are introduced in Basic Concepts: Same - Part 2. Teach: "TEACH" is the first and most basic activity because it introduces students to the concept of "SAME" with errorless learning. Level 1: Students are directed to a "re-learning" page when they select the incorrect item. In addition, the distractor stays the same. Level 2: This time, the distractor changes on each page. There is no extra support provided for incorrect answers..  Level 3: Students uncover pictures until they find the one that is the same as another picture. There are audio rewards upon completion of Levels 1, 2 and 3. Once your students are proficient in all 4 levels of this deck, they're ready for Essential Vocabulary: Same Part 2, where there are 6 more levels of difficulty.
