In this activity, students will practice manipulating CVC words with the letters b, c /k/, d, f, g, m, n, p, s, t, suffix -s /s/ and a, e, i, o, u in word chains. They will change words one sound at a time. Standards/Skills: This activity is designed to provide additional practice after the introduction of the suffix s /s/. Previously learned letters within this scope and sequence that might be included in this activity are: a, b, c /k/, d, e, f, g, i, m, n, o, p, s, t, and u. RF.K.2.e: Add or substitute individual sounds (phonemes) in simple, one-syllable words to make new words.
