Description: Students will listen to words with the trigraph dge sound and spell them using their keyboards. All words have short vowels. There are audio directions on every slide. Students click the audio icon to listen to the word. Then they will use their keyboards to type in the word that they hear. These are no prep and self-grading task cards. They do require internet and a boom learning account, but can be used with a free version. There are 10 cards and will be put in random order for each student. These cards work towards a component of RF.K.3 and RF.1.3. Added pictures to give students visual clues to support the audio. Designed to prevent concerns with background noises, accents, and dialect differences.
