Description
Time in Word Form Boom Cards includes 32 digital, self-checking task cards to help students practice reading commonly-used word descriptions of time. Each time is displayed on a digital or an analog clock, and the answer choices include phrases such as “half past,” “quarter to,” and “quarter after.” The first 5 cards in the deck are instructional cards that include examples of how time can be expressed in words and numbers. The remaining 27 cards are presented randomly each time a student plays through the deck. There are two versions of Time in Word Form Boom Cards, one with audio directions (this deck) and one without audio. Every card in this deck has a sound icon in the upper left corner. When students click the sound icon on one of the introductory cards, they will hear the directions and examples read aloud. If they click the sound icon on one of the interactive task cards, they will hear the directions read aloud but not the answer choices.
