Description: This deck was created for primary students to practice their reading comprehension skills while reading informational text. They will learn about the Pilgrims' journey and the daily life of the Pilgrims and Wampanoag. They will read to identify details to respond to Wh- questions. The deck is divided into three parts which are accessed using the menu on the first slide. The parts are "Trip and Voyage," "Pilgrims," and "Wampanoag." Audio support, tab navigation, and alt text are provided. The Deck: - Each part can be accessed using a menu on the first card. Each card contains short sentences with informational text and a Wh question. - Slides 2 - 6 - "Trip and Landing" - your students will learn about the voyage, settlement, meeting the Wampanoag, and the feast. Slides 7 - 20 - "Pilgrims" - your students will learn about daily Pilgrim life. It includes information about their homes, clothing, daily tasks, education, and the children's tasks. Slides 21 - 29 - "Wampanoag" - provides information about daily Wampanoag life. There is information about the wetu, their clothing, the crops, women's jobs, men's jobs, and the children's tasks.
