Description: "Square It for Articulation: Fricatives" is a fun way to practice /f, sh, s/ in all positions of words: at the word, phrase, or sentence level. There is a card for each sound position plus pages for a mixture of sounds and/or positions. To play the game, the student touches the target word, produces it, and then drags a red line to the word four times until a square is formed. Each time a line is placed, the student produces the word. The student must produce the word four times to form a square. With ten pictures per page, each fricative is practiced at least 50 times. Once a square has been completed, the student touches one of the letters to reveal the animated object underneath. Before moving on, tap on the animated object to remove it from the page. This will keep the animated objects from becoming a distraction. Repeat with each target word. Remember, you can vary the level of difficulty for your student by requiring a word, phrase or sentence. Use it for home practice, teletherapy sessions, individual or small group serssions or during Push-in Speech Therapy.
