Description: Ask students to drag and drop the family (onto the drop zone) to move them through each obstacle in the interactive story. Great for telepractice! These self-correcting slides will help your preschool, kinder, first grade students, and older kids with disabilities engage in a repetitive story inspired by We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. A digital book is included. After reading the interactive book, there are 3 additional activities for expressive and receptive language including SEQUENCING, PREPOSITIONS and FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS. Activity 1: Interactive Vocabulary Book Students move the family through the various landforms including a river, forest, snowstorm, and more. Click through as you read the book together. This is great for main idea or vocabulary goals. Activity 2: Sequencing Students choose from 3 images to tell what happens next in the story. Activity 3: Prepositions Students click the correct preposition by answering the WH question “where”. Students practice simple sentences using the visual cues. Activity 4: Landforms Scene Coloring Activity Use this landforms themed activity to aid in the understanding of the basic concepts of space, quantity, and dimension (i.e. relational words). Student listen closely and drag and drop the paintbrush onto the image or images that go best with the direction.
