Description: In this activity, students will practice listening to and spelling words with the digraph ck and short vowels using boxes to spell each sound. There are audio directions on every slide. Students will click on the picture and type the spelling for each sound in a box. These are no prep and self-grading task cards. They do require internet and a boom learning account, but can be used with a free version. There are 13 cards and will be put in random order for each time played. Every student in the class will have a unique combination of cards and students can play multiple times and receive a different combination of cards each time. It is designed to work on a component of RF.K.3 and RF.1.3.
