Description: The purpose of this Boom Deck is to get your students to practice identifying and writing irregular past tense verbs in sentences. A GIF in American Sign Language (ASL) for "What happened?" is used as a question prompt throughout. The deck is split up into two parts and is repeated. Part one: - Identify the irregular verb in a choice of two Part Two: - Fill in the blank by typing the irregular verb Target Vocabulary: fell, bit, broke, froze, slept, dug, drew, flew, caught, built, ate, ran, bought GIFs A GIF is presented in American Sign Language (ASL) regarding which question is asked. The GIF acts as a cue in ASL and is used to help your students understand what question is asked, help with those students who are impulsive, may not wait for the question to be asked, and for your student to be able to complete the assignment as homework independently.
