Description: In this activity, students will practice writing words with special letter qu in Elkonin boxes. They will listen to the word, drag color tiles to represent the sounds, and then spell each sound in the word in the Elkonin boxes. There are audio directions on every slide and a sample slide. They are no prep and self-grading task cards. They do require internet and a boom learning account, but can be used with a free version. There are 8 cards which will be put in random order for each time played. Every student in the class will have a unique order of cards. It is designed to work on a component of RF.1.3, and RF.2.3. *This activity may work better with the iPad portrait style rather than landscape especially if using the on screen keyboard.
