Description: This create a spring garden deck, is a fun drag and drop activity for pre-k, kindergarten or first grade. In this deck, students create their own garden using a variety of vegetables, flowers and other add-ons. Students make choices and use their imagination to build the pictures. Use these cards to reinforce garden or vegetable vocabulary, as a center activity, free time, or as a reward. Here are a few tips to guide the students: - You don't have to use all the pieces in the picture box. You can make a choice, but the garden must have vegetables or flowers. - Use your imagination. There are vegetables, flowers, bunnies, bugs, pets, and many more add-ons that you can use. You can put a bird on the fence or a bee flying in the garden or perhaps a caterpillar on the vegetables or add a spider to the fence. There are so many ideas. - Let the pieces overlap. Some of the pieces will snap to the back. For the teachers: - Discuss the instruction page with the students and let them have fun independently OR - Work with the students and give them instructions.
