About me: Hi there, and welcome to my store! I'm a recently retired educator with 23 years of experience in Foundation Phase and Special Education. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to teach in schools for underprivileged children, where I developed a deep passion for making learning fun and accessible to every student, regardless of their circumstances. I've attained a JPD and DSSN from Denneoord Training College and Stellenbosch University in South Africa. As a qualified elementary and special needs teacher, I've adapted my teaching approach to meet students where they are in their learning journey, incorporating hands-on exploration, play, and self-discovery. And that is why I enjoy creating Boom™Cards. Although I've stepped away from the classroom, my love for education hasn't disappeared. I now dedicate my time to creating fun and engaging resources designed to support teachers. With my background and understanding of the unique challenges faced by underprivileged students, I strive to bring a smile to every child's face and ensure that learning is a joyful experience.
