Description: In this activity, students will practice reading CVC words and then determining if it has a short A or short U sound. Students will drag words to match the picture for the vowel sound. There are audio directions on every slide. They are no prep and self-grading task cards. They do require internet and a boom learning account, but can be used with a free version. There are 10 cards which will be put in random order for each time played. Every student in the class will have a unique order of cards. It is designed to work on a component of RF.K.3, RF.K.3d, and RF.1.3.
