What’s Outside the Tent? is an interactive camping-themed language activity with a predictable, repeating routine. Students follow the story as different woodland animals appear outside the tent. For each animal, students: 1. Find the animal in the camping scene 2. Answer an errorless “What is it?” question with picture support 3. Use a visual sentence strip to formulate a sentence about what they see The repeated structure provides multiple opportunities to target animal vocabulary, receptive and expressive language, WH questions, sentence formulation, visual scanning, and story comprehension. Students can respond verbally, by pointing/selecting, with AAC, or through another communication mode. 39 interactive cards included.
