Description: These Boom Cards are perfect to practice using illustrations to identify key details, mood, and story elements in a passage. Students will read a fiction story with an illustration, then they will will answer questions about the text and the illustrations. Close reading illustrations adds to the text in many ways. Students will see how the illustrations connect to the words in the story. There are 5 fiction stories with 5 questions each.
