This interactive speech and language activity contains very simple, clear images and early language vocabulary—perfect for your youngest learners. Students answer the question “Where’s the turkey?” by touching the turkey on each page to show where it is hiding. After finding it, the sentence “I found you.” is modeled and repeated throughout the activity with sentence strips and AAC visuals to support emerging expressive language, MLU expansion, and core vocabulary use. You can also use this activity to: Encourage verbal responses Discuss and describe the background scenes Reinforce early what/where questioning Support errorless success for early communicators Build confidence through repetition and predictable routines This resource is great for Thanksgiving, for mixed groups, for teletherapy, and for home carryover.
