Description: Use this winter themed deck to provide your students with a fun and engaging way to review the money skills they have mastered thus far by determining whether or not kids have enough money to purchase a given object. On each card, students are shown a winter themed object sitting on or in front of a winter store counter. The price of the object is displayed on a card next to the object. Each card also contains a set of moveable bills and coins. Students are tasked with counting the bills and coins, and then determining whether or not the kid shown on the card has enough money to purchase the object, If so, students click YES. If not, students click NO. The deck includes 20 cards. Both written and optional audio directions are provided on each card. The cards are presented in random order each time the game is played. The deck supports the following standard:: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.MD.C.8 Solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and cent signs appropriately. Example: If you have 3 dimes and 2 pennies, how many cents do you have?
