Description: I created this main idea resource for upper elementary (grades 4-5) students to be able to demonstrate their understanding of nonfiction texts by choosing the most appropriate details that support the main ideas in an interactive venue. I wrote the passages to be just long enough for teachers to quickly assess whether students know the skill. Many of the topics lean towards science themes.
